“ We ended up in this place by chance because everything was closed in Petralia Soprana, one of the best accidents we've ever had really. The food is excellent, the hosts are kind and generous, and they cook themselves, the restaurant is cosy and elegant and there's even a vintage framed poster hanging on the wall from a 1975 Renato Guttuso exhibition. If you happen to be in the general area, go have a meal even if you have to alter your itinerary. ”

My favorite was the Alla Norma crepes. I never had them in all of my 13 visits to Sicily. Sooo good. Roberto was wonderful, kind & accommodating, as well as our sever Lorenzo who was so kind and helpful w/ a smile. Definitely try this place! They just opened one month ago. It’s a special place!! ”
“ I can’t begin to describe how wonderful our experience was at Nicuzza. My family traveled to Petralia Sottana, July 2023 to visit the place where of my grandfather’s birth in 1875. Our group of 14 had the most amazing meal! Roberto and Mattea were wonderful and welcoming. They prepared a variety of the most delicious dishes, with so much thought and care put into each course. It was one of the best meals we had during our entire trip to Sicily. My wife and I plan on eating there again this year. ”
